For reds the focus is on native varietals to the region - Aglianico and Aglianicone - and for whites the traditional Fiano grape.
Whereas the norm is for big, powerful reds in Campania, Vigneti Tardis take a lighter and more elegant approach with less extraction.
Their 'Martedi' bottling is from 100% Aglianicone, a lesser known grape historically only used for blending, but here given centre-stage.
It is characterised by crunchy red fruit and is very aromatic and fresh. Tannins are low and the wine is soft, approachable. Very quaffable and easy drinking.
